Full-Time Manager of Visual Arts

Coordinator, Visual Arts Assistant
The Manager of Visual
Arts is responsible for the planning, implementation and fulfillment of ArtsQuest’s
Visual Arts youth and family programs, classes and camps. Coordinates visual
arts programs in the community including public art projects, outreach programs
and events. Assists in planning of Banana Factory exhibitions.
Promotion of Banana
Factory and Program Development
- Develop and maintain strong
relationships with community organizations; Initiate collaborations that
include the Banana Factory in regional arts undertakings and
the Banana Factory with various local, state, regional and national arts
and arts-presenters Organizations.
- Work with Marketing Department, the
Sr. Director of Communications and Visual Arts Assistant to develop
marketing and public relation strategies for youth and family programs at
the Banana Factory.
- Collaborate with
the Visual Arts team and local art institutions to complete long-range
planning for gallery exhibitions.
- Participate in
the planning of gallery exhibitions in coordination with the Visual Arts Teams.

- Oversee Full-time Visual Arts
Assistant in marketing, class registration, customer service and communication

Assistant in classroom management, supplies, Teaching Artists schedules

Knowledge, Skills and
degree or master’s degree in Arts Administration, Business Management or other
related field; at least 5 to 8 years’ experience managing a staff, budget, and
business plan; special consideration will be given to candidates who have
business management experience in an arts organization.
