A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ACCOUNTING CLERK / BOOKKEEPER
As an Accounting Clerk / Bookkeeper, you are the gatekeeper of details! No figure, no matter how small gets by you without being checked, double-checked, and recorded in the right place. You enjoy maintaining accurate records for all AR & AP accounts and enter in received payments and vendor invoices in a timely manner. You regularly make general ledger entries, perform general ledger reconciliations, make daily deposits, and generate monthly reports. You get great satisfaction out of maintaining an organized and streamlined bookkeeping system.
- Degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of experience as a bookkeeper
- Can accurately and proficiently work in Quickbooks and Excel
- Bilingual (Spanish/English or Russian/English) a plus!
Industry-related knowledge/experience is a plus, but not required. Are you self-motivated and able to work independently but also function well as part of a team? Do you have keen attention to detail and the ability to keep records and files organized? Are you able to manage multiple tasks at a time efficiently and with a respect for deadlines? Do you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal? Do you have strong customer service skills? If so, you might just be perfect for this position!
