POSITION:  F&B Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Director of Restaurants

STATUS:  Full time/ Year round

POSITION RESPONSIBLITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The F&B Coordinator Position is responsible for the fulfillment of a variety of administrative tasks for the F&B department, e.g. completing payroll including processing of tips; updating and monitoring the F&B POS (point of sale software system); creating draft staff schedules based on business levels;  assisting with beverage inventories, including monthly counts, drafting purchase orders and verifying deliveries; preparing weekly revenue and labor reports; resolving guest billing inquiries; working with other Lodge team members on special events; and other administrative duties.

The F&B Coordinator position is accountable for ensuring administrative work is done accurately and timely, in accordance with the administrative calendar for F&B.

The F&B Coordinator position role is required to function in a highly self-directed way, maintaining a strong working relationship with the Director of F&B (non-culinary),  Restaurant managers, and Events Managers.  

The F&B Coordinator is responsible for modeling our core values and charges; contributing to the fulfillment business objectives across the business unit; and to collaborate with the F&B team Restaurant Managers in the fulfillment of our shared mission.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

-          One year experience in a customer service administrative support role

-          Prior experience in a fast pace high volume environment restaurant is preferred

-          Strong functional knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

-          Strong computer skills

-          Excellent verbal and written skills

-          Strong creative problem solving skills

-          Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

-          Highly detail orientated

-          Possessed of professional confidence and calm

-          High regard for guest and employee relations

 

SCHEDULE / HOLIDAYS/ PTO:

The F&B Administrative Assistant is expected to normally keep a 5 day a week schedule, but this may be adjusted as needed according to business need. A work week of 35 to 40 hours per week can be expected, however it can be more or less depending on the business needs of the Lodge. The F&B Administrative Assistant work schedule can be highly flexible, provided that the required work is done in accordance with the administrative calendar.
