Company Summary:

Crowheart Energy, LLC is an independent oil and gas company with an operational focus on the Green River Basin in southern Wyoming. The Company has a low-decline legacy production base with development opportunities across its 1.3 million net acre operated position. Crowheart is privately held and governed by long-term energy industry investors.  

Responsibilities:

  • Design wellhead facilities, gas and water gathering systems, compression stations, saltwater disposal facilities and other required surface facilities for Crowheart’s assets.
  • Develop a PFD, P&ID, plot plan, equipment arrangement diagrams, MTO, BOM, etc. to support a design and construction process.
  • Size vessels, pumps, compressors, pipes, valves, PSVs, tanks, etc. as well as a good understanding of the functionality and operation of this equipment.
  • Use the drilling and development schedule to set priorities for work and continually stay ahead of the rigs in order to get new wells to sales.
  • Manage projects to support wellhead facilities, gathering systems and other required surface facilities to support Crowheart’s Rockies operations.
  • Work with field personnel to identify optimization projects that would serve to increase production or decrease operating expenses.
  • Support the production operations and facilities construction teams to troubleshoot legacy and new facilities equipment and processes
  • Follow through with identified projects to its logical end, such as economics, scheduling, design, vendor negotiations, vendor selection and overall project management.
  • Develop and manage RFQ/RFP packages for facilities equipment and construction services.
  • Track actual project costs and monitor expenditures for all AFE's and report any variances.
  • Promote Crowheart’s culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Work on a multi-disciplinary team to work collaboratively to scope, engineer and design well pad facilities (single and multi-well), dehydration units, gas compressions systems, fluid transport systems, etc.
  • Support efforts to develop and maintain a process safety culture through participating in HAZOP/HAZID studies, developing cause and effect analysis to support facilities and leading management of change process. 
  • Support the development of technical guidance, standards and procedures related to operation of equipment and automation and electrical systems. Stay abreast of industry developments within technical area of responsibility.
  • Develop and implement recovery plans to ensure project schedule and costs remain on track with budget and forecast.
  • Develop project cost estimates, project budgets, long term plans, and forecasts as necessary with necessary supporting data including development scenarios, schedules, etc.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil and gas required; onshore Rockies unconventional experience preferred.
  • Bachelor of science in mechanical, chemical, petroleum or related engineering degree.
  • Working knowledge of process piping standards and specifications (ASME B31.3 and 31.8), materials selection and metallurgical requirements.
  • Experience with pipeline hydraulic modeling (PipeSim).
  • Experience in small to medium size project management.
  • Procurement/supply chain experience with developing and administering RFIs, RFQs, and Pos.
  • Ability to identify midstream opportunities as they arise in E&P operations (compressor and equipment downsizing, consolidation of gathering pipelines, etc.).
  • Understand LOE and capital budgeting process and impacts on cash flow.
  • May require oversight responsibilities of contract workers.
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all functions in the organization.
  • Demonstrated field engineering or construction experience
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time.
  • Proactive analytical skills with attention to detail and process improvements.
  • Demonstrated track record of technical excellence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency
  • Isometric piping drawing and piping system design proficiency
  • Proven strategic thinker.
