Wayside Farm is currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper who will assist in the day-to-day accounting functions of the
facility in accordance with current acceptable accounting and cost
reimbursement principles relating to the long-term care operation, and as may
be directed by the administrator or accountant.
Bookkeeper Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assists in implementing the day-to-day functions of
the accounting department.
- Medicare- Prepare claims, submit electronically, post
deposits into PCC, and follow up on denials; Wayside Farm and Northampton
For the resident trust, maintain banking records, post
deposits, write checks and balance statements, send quarterly statements.
Discuss financial obligations and payment
responsibilities with Residents and/or Financial Representatives prior to or
Previous experience working as a Bookkeeper or accounting practices a must. Experience in healthcare accounting preferred, but not required. A Bachelor's Degree is strongly desired.
