person in this position reports directly to the Front Office Manager and will
be responsible for overseeing hotel operations in the evening hours. Duties
include supervising staff to provide hotel services; implementing and enforcing
procedures necessary for ensuring the safety of guests and their property;
preventive maintenance and quality control for the property (nightly
inspection/security walk); checking in guest; managing paperwork; resolving
customer complaints; and performing other duties as required or assigned.
with guests to resolve problems by suggesting and applying mutually agreeable
solutions. Assist guests in making, changing, and canceling reservations. Register
guests into and out of resort. Assist in developing walk-in rates for last
minute bookings. Provide information in person and by telephone regarding
resort services. Work directly with Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure that
all guest requests are met in a timely and correct fashion. Resolve front desk
discrepancies (financial, reservation, etc).
*Bonus - $250 after 30 days of employment and $250 after Labor Day if employed still.
