Cooling Tower Laborer/Helper

Our company is looking for a Helper to join our team in the Columbia, MD area! If interested, please apply! 

Responsibilities:

-Must be able to demonstrate proper and basic power and hand tool knowledge and usage 

-Must be willing to learn from others around them in proper field techniques and skills

-Be able to take direction and perform steps to task completion 

-Must be able to demonstrate perfect attendance and arriving to the work site on time and willing to work and carry your load 

-Willingness to learn this trade and the skills that come with it to be a valued employee 

-Will need to occasionally work out of town as well as overtime and weekends (scheduled in advanced) 

-Be able to demonstrate the ability to work in tight spaces, from heights and ladders 

-Maintain a clean worksite, free of debris and trash 

-Roll-out tools at the beginning of the workday and put away tools at the end of the workday 

-Be willing to work in different weather conditions: heat, cold, light rain, snow

-Additional tasks as assigned by Lead Mechanics and Project Managers 

-Must adhere to all company safety policies and wear proper PPE at all times

-Must have reliable transportation to and from work 

Qualifications:

-High School diploma or equivalent 

-OSHA 10 or 30 (Not required! But beneficial) 

-Willingness to travel about 10% to 25% of the time 

-Ability to lift 50 pounds
