Project Manager/Lead Floor Technician

We are Golden Standard Enterprises - a growing, family-owned commercial cleaning company that has proudly served NE Ohio for over 16 years. We are offering a unique and important opportunity as a project manager in which you will both lead teams and work autonomously. The Project Manager/Lead Floor Care Technician will serve as an integral part of the GSE team in support of our clients’ special project needs, including but not limited to floor and carpet care, strip & wax, and many additional projects. This career opportunity will allow you to play a critical role within a small, but growing, company while serving prominent clients throughout the area. The primary goal of this position is to provide leadership for the department along with ensuring that each job is completed to the level of expectation of Golden Standard Enterprises. Shifts will vary based on assignments and needs at the time for each individual project.
Essential Functions
Expected duties - carpet cleaning, stripping & waxing, buffing floors, grout cleaning, burnishing floors, etc.
Assist management in the daily operation of specific contract services delivered to customers in a timely and quality manner.
Orientate and train new employees in the safe and proper operation of equipment and floor care processes as necessary.
Conduct QC inspections as directed by Management.
Perform preventative maintenance and minor repair of equipment as necessary.
Assist with establishing and maintaining a positive relationship with customers.
Job Qualifications
Must have a minimum of five (5) years floor care experience.
Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort.
Must have the ability to lead others in the field as well as train staff on proper cleaning techniques.
Physical Requirements
Must be physically capable of completing the physical demands of each and every job.
Ability to lift and push up to 60 pounds.
Must be able to read and write in English.
Environment
Travels to and from various locations.
The employee is exposed to various cleaning chemicals.
The employee is required to operate power equipment including floor machine equipment, buffers, and various other power tools.
May require working early morning, mid-morning, afternoon and/or evening hours; as well as weekends and Holidays.

We are looking to expand our special projects department at Golden Standard. Members of this staff provide carpet cleaning, hard floor care services, and other cleaning services at customer locations located throughout NE Ohio and the surrounding area. You will work in well-established commercial office buildings, banks, restaurants, apartments, etc. located throughout the NE Ohio area.
