Working toward our mission, the Job and Education Center (JEC) provides professionally developed work readiness
training followed by paid, on the job work experience in which youth are
supported by a case manager for the duration of the program and are placed at
one of WCAC’s trusted business partner worksites.
WCAC is seeking a full time Youth Employment Coordinator, responsible for coordinating the youth employment programs to include day-to-day partner
management and engagement, data-entry, and building relationships with youth and
- High School Diploma or Equivalency required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Related experience considered.
be proficient in Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate database software.

Duties and Responsibilities:
daily supervision to the Year Round and Summer Youth Works staff, ensure
appropriate coverage and staffing at all times.
in hiring/on boarding and termination process of Year-Round and Summer Youth
Works staff as needed.
both Year-Round and Summer Youth Works staff through conflict resolution and
sharing program responsibilities.
for day-to-day partner management and engagement for youth employment programs.
Serve as primary point of contact.
positive working relationships with employer partners. Communicate regularly with worksite
supervisors to ensure a successful experience.
employer partners for compliance with all applicable state, federal, and
program rules and regulations regarding youth employment.
in the development of best practices for youth outreach and recruitment, youth
employment and work- readiness programs and partner management.
in center-wide reporting and data collection initiatives.
accuracy of timesheets and payroll submission.
and coordinate weekly site visits to employer partners.
and facilitate Commonwealth Corporation’s Signal Success® work readiness
training, to include scheduling and guest speakers.
and maintain positive mentoring relationship with youth.
- Work with Case Manager/Job Developer to coordinate youth job placement process.
with Case Manager and Career Navigator to ensure youth have appropriate
wrap-around supports, make referrals for services as needed and coach youth to
meet their employment and/or training goals.
and facilitate employer partner orientation at the start of each youth
detailed client files of youth employment program participants to meet funder
detailed client database for JEC youth employment programs, including data
entry in CSG Engage, Excel and Youth Works database, tracking program
requirements, and ensuring accurate information is maintained.
program materials annually, to meet funder requirements, outreach, recruitment,
and partnership development practices.
