Junior Cybersecurity Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities:

Support the evaluation, authorization, and documentation as necessary to assure that our clients’ Enterprise IT systems and controls meet all Cybersecurity, compliance and risk requirements. Using knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, leads Cybersecurity activities for large and small companies in the public/commercial sector. Advocates for changes in policy that supports organizational cyberspace initiatives. Ensures appropriate treatment of risk, compliance, and assurance from internal and external perspectives Duties include, but are not limited to:

·        Supports independent comprehensive assessments of the management, operational, and technical security controls and control enhancements employed within or inherited by an information technology (IT) system to determine the overall effectiveness of the controls

·        Supports the designs sustainable risk management and compliance processes and structures

·        Supports the documentation of policies and plans to include one or more of the following: Security Authorization Plans, System Security Plans, Contingency Plans, Security Assessment Reports, and Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms)

·        Supports the development of reports and holds presentations to Senior level stakeholders –

·        Experience with MS Visio is preferred to support Network/Data Flow Diagraming

·        Ability to meet deadlines and work objectives

Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Cybersecurity, or related field

·        Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant industry experience performing IT security -activities relative to Information Assurance, Certification and Accreditation (C&A/A&A) Risk Management, Assessment and Planning

         Must be a US Citizen
