The JDK Group Catering & Events is Central PA’s premier catering and event-planning company where clients, and their special life moments, come first. Since 1987, we’ve continued to set the standards for events and hospitality for the areas surrounding Harrisburg, Lancaster, and York. With over 25 years of event management experience and the ability to plan a celebration for 15 to 15,000 people, our talented and passionate team offers exceptional guest service, incredible fresh food, and innovative event design.
This position would require someone who has a flexible schedule, can work nights and weekends, enjoys working with a team and most importantly, enjoys ensuring an incredible guest experience! Your weekly work schedule would be dependent on our wedding and event calendar, which includes both late nights and weekends. Events can range from weddings, to birthday celebrations, graduations, corporate functions and more. This is a part-time position with the opportunity of full-time hours long term.
While experience in the hospitality or food service industry is beneficial, it is not a requirement so if you’ve ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of all those cool weddings and celebrations you've attended, now is your chance!
Key Responsibilities:
- Set-up, Serve, and Tear-down Events

- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Ability to work shifts ranging from 8 - 14 hours

Job Type: Part-time with possible full time hours during season
Pay: up to $13/hr to start with the potential to move to up to $17/hr
