POSITION SUMMARY


MedNOW Clinics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our patient‑centered team serving our Thornton clinic in the Denver metro area.

We are specifically seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) provider to support our diverse patient population and ensure clear, culturally competent communication.

In this role, you will provide high‑quality, comprehensive outpatient care to patients of all ages while collaborating closely with physicians, clinicians, and support staff. You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient education — all within a flexible, outpatient setting that values autonomy and teamwork.

COMPENSATION & PERFORMANCE INCENTIVES


  • Base Salary: $110,000 – $125,000 annually (based on experience and credentials)
  • Quarterly Performance Bonuses: Providers are eligible for additional compensation through MedNOW’s RVU‑based Production Payment Model, with bonuses awarded quarterly based on:
    • Patient volume
    • Visit complexity
    • Quality and productivity metrics
This structure rewards efficiency, clinical excellence, and the ability to manage complex patient care.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Provide direct patient care, including health histories, physical exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning
  • Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies; prescribe and manage medications within scope of practice
  • Educate patients on medical conditions, medications, preventive care, and lifestyle management
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and clinical colleagues on complex or specialized cases
  • Participate in Quality Assurance (QA) and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives
  • Utilize MedNOW’s multimodal care model, including referrals to behavioral health, physical therapy, and nutrition services
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and coding in Athena EHR
  • Stay current with medical advancements through ongoing education and training



SCOPE OF WORK & EXPECTATIONS


  • Complete and close clinical documentation within 48 hours of patient encounters
  • Model professionalism, integrity, and teamwork in all clinic operations
  • Maintain current licensure, DEA registration, board certification, and credentialing
  • Develop individualized care plans that reflect patients’ cultural, psychological, and social needs


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Current and unrestricted Colorado NP or PA license with furnishing number
  • Current DEA registration
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience in Family Practice and/or Internal Medicine
  • Strong understanding of chronic disease management and preventive care
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
  • Commitment to high‑quality, patient‑centered care
