Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

The QA Automation Engineer is a technical role in which you will design and code automated test suites to regression test and validate web-based applications and APIs.  You will be part of an Agile SCRUM development team, working closely with other developers, business analysts and QA analysts.  You will be responsible for building out and maintaining our automated testing framework and will play a critical role in ensuring we deliver high quality, defect free software to production.

Essential Functions:

·         Design, develop, and maintain automated testing program framework

·         Implement test automation for regression scenarios that allow for a repeatable and reliable testing framework

·         Design and develop test plans and test cases, for both manual and automated test scenarios, based on requirements and user stories

·         Work closely with other teams to develop test strategies and scenarios for new and existing products

·         Develop new test cases and test plans for multiple applications

·         Execute test cases on multiple environments and track results

The ideal candidate will have the following:

·         Four years of experience in software quality assurance, with 2 or more years of experience in QA automation testing

·         Direct experience designing, building and implementing automated tests using a framework like Selenium

·         Extensive backend API testing with SOAPUI or similar toolset

·         Hands-on experience in building, executing and maintaining automation suites

·         Experience desig­ning test cases and plans for web applications and APIs (REST; Soap)

·         Solid programming skills in C# 

·         Fundamental knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience writing SQL queries

·         Testing framework experience with NUnit or XUnit

·         Experience with Agile and Scrum

·         Knowledge of credit card domain is a plus

·         Familiarity with cloud-based systems, specifically AWS
