Job Location: DMV Area (DC, Maryland, Virginia)
• Understands and
have the operational experience and knowledge of costs associated with
Management, MSW Landfill and Construction & Demolition
government Statement of Work/Performance Work Statement, Workloads and other
documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, equipment and labor estimates.
pricing/cost estimate sheet• Assess cost effectiveness of projects and services,
tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
• Consult with
subcontractors, vendors, operations team and or other departments to discuss
and formulate estimates. Identify which services can be performed using our
existing staff versus subcontracting.
• Recommend ways
to reduce costs
material, equipment and labor requirements, to decide whether it is more cost-effective

• Knowledge of
applicable union contracts and SCA Wage Determination
• Review and
prepare statement of work for subcontractor services. Obtain at a minimum of 3

• The ideal
candidate for this position will have prior MSW Landfill
operations and Solid Waste Management experience with government contracts.
