Senior Brand Manager


Position Title: Senior Brand Manager

Reports to: Vice President, Marketing 


DDC is looking for a Brand Manager to develop the future of DDC's portfolio of products and brands.

As the Senior Brand Manager, you will work with cross-functional, cross-portfolio team members to develop commercial strategies across various channels that support achieving growth by improving market access and channel performance.

The Senior Brand Manager will work directly with the VP of Marketing to develop and implement strategic & tactical marketing plans to ensure the success of assigned product line(s). The Senior Brand Manager interfaces with internal and external customers as needed to manage the promotion, growth and maintenance of product lines in accordance with the company’s goals and objectives.


  • Responsible for leading all aspects of the product life cycle ranging from setting product definitions, pricing, leading product core teams, launch activities, product sustaining and product obsolescence.
  • Work with internal stake-holders to develop and implement high impact collateral and sales tools for B2C and B2B product lines.
  • Communicate differentiated and compelling value proposition including: sell sheets, advertising, mailers, training materials, competitive analysis and tactics, cost comparisons, pricing promotions, etc.
  • Develop annual forecast and growth targets for assigned product line(s).
  • Assist in the development of marketing plans that detail competition and sales strategy.
  • Assume the role of “product champion” by developing an understanding of the customer journey, ensuring needs and next steps are intuitive.
  • Work with senior management to develop and manage to annual budget for product lines.
  • Develop launch plans for new products based on analytics and market research.
  • Manage revenue growth and profitability of assigned product line(s); provide regular communication to management.
  • Mange Portfolio Lifecycle by providing recommendations for product improvements; conduct quarterly and annual profitability analysis to determine pricing/product discontinuance.
  • Participate in cross-functional product teams devoted to troubleshooting and product improvement.
  • Keep up-to-date with competition and market trends; actively monitor competitor activities to define positioning and differentiators.
  • Provide product and positioning training for internal and external customers.
  • Assist with planning and execution of sales meetings and trade shows.
  • Assist with maintaining and growing relationships with external partners.
  • Ensure and maintain compliance with the company’s quality system requirements through training and adherence to policies, procedures and processes
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Travel as needed.



  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of experience. 
  • Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years previous product management experience; previous experience within a healthcare, life sciences, or biotech industry highly preferred; knowledge of company product lines a plus. 
  • Demonstrated experience with successful product launch.
  • Experience with both hospital and alternate site segments a plus.
  • Experience working with distribution channels a plus.
  • Practical budget management experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent presentation skills and demonstrated creativity required.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong planning, organizational, time, and project management skills are required
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision; must also be able to work as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
