Museum Store Supervisor

The Museum Store Supervisor is an entry level management position.  The Museum Store Supervisor reports to the Museum Store Manager and is responsible for all aspects of customer service in the museum stores.  In the absence of the Store Manager the Supervisor will oversee all aspects of retail operations as well as retail staff.  The Supervisor will act as a resource to Sales Associates in regards to customer inquiries, reserve funds and product/price discrepancies.  Other job duties include greeting and assisting customers, insuring adequate change is in cash drawers, accurately processing transactions, stocking shelves, maintaining a clean and orderly store and the ability to undertake other duties and special projects as assigned by Store Manager.  The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, minimum 2 year retail management experience, must possess basic merchandising and math skills and be willing to learn and follow established policy and procedures.  The ability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
