As our Director of Organizational Development, you will join our HR team and report to the Vice President Human Resources, leading the OD function, while demonstrating First Commonwealth’s mission, vision and values. You will successfully build strong relationships to partner with and influence multiple stakeholders while effectively executing talent management, talent development, and OD programs and processes.

What you will do:

In this role, you will lead and provide strategic direction to the learning and organizational development function in a dynamic and growing credit union as you: 

•   Manage various OD programs, projects and initiatives. 

•   Lead information-gathering interviews and focus groups, gather insights from various internal and  
     external resources, conduct analyses, facilitate meetings with stakeholders at various management levels, create
     presentations and present findings to senior management. 

•   Research various topics, make recommendations, effectively plan/manage projects and provide HR
     training/education on OD programs and processes. 

•   Manage learning & development, leadership development programs and other programs. Facilitate
     training workshops and sessions as necessary. 

•   Provide leadership coaching, organizational development consulting, and change management

•   Monitor and continuously drive strategies and tactics to improve organizational development, and
     organizational effectiveness. 

•   Partner with HR and business leaders to implement OD strategies and programs. 

•   Provide day-to-day direction to team members (direct reports).  

To succeed in this role, you will have:

o   Bachelor’s degree from one of the seven regionally accrediting bodies
o   5 - 8 years of experience in learning, change management, leadership development, organization development, and
     process  design
o   Experience facilitating small and large groups in a variety of settings; experience with conflict resolution
o   Experience coaching and developing leaders at various levels
o   Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
o   Superior verbal and written communication skills
o   Able to effectively communicate complex ideas in a simple, straightforward manner across all employee levels

 Preference will be given to those who have:

o   MA/MS degree, preferably in Organization Development or Industrial Organizational Psychology
o   3 years of developing and managing professional staff
o   2 years of leading an organizational development or training function
o   Preferred accomplishments include assessing organizational needs, developing and delivering leadership and staff       
     development initiatives, succession planning, coaching, and mentoring for current and potential leaders
o   2- 5 years supervisory experience
o   Experience with various OD tools and assessments (MBTI, DISC, Birkman, Clifton StrengthsFinder, Emotional Intelligence
o   Experience with The Leadership Challenge workshop and other similar workshops EOE
