Server Responsibilities:

  • Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
  • Ensure all our guests feel welcomed and let them know you are there to take care of them
  • Know regular guests by name; know their preferences and needs
  • Make recommendations you genuinely feel that your guests will enjoy
  • Take food and beverage orders and enter into POS system
  • Calibrate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
  • Check guests' identification and confirm legal drinking age
  • Handle any complaints or problems with a positive attitude
  • Go above and beyond guests' expectations; respond promptly and courteously to requests
  • Present bills, accept payments, operate POS system, upholding cash handling procedures and accountability for all transactions
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant/section
  • Perform running/closing side work assigned
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the restaurant
