WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Meat Cutter to join our Food Centre located at 2132 Keating X Rd, Saanichton, BC. This is a full-time position offering a range of 32 - 40 hours per week.

Our ideal candidate is:

·         Available to work any day of the week, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

·         Friendly, helpful, and customer-focused

·         Knowledgeable in meat cutting, product quality, food safety, and merchandising standards

·         Comfortable sharing knowledge and supporting the development of less experienced team members

·         Able to work independently while contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

·         Able to stand for long periods and frequently lift, push and pull up to 80 lbs

WHAT YOU’LL DO

·         Cut, trim, and prepare meat products for display and sale

·         Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service

·         Ensure products are fresh, safe, and properly rotated

·         Help manage inventory and reduce waste

·         Maintain displays, signage, and department presentation

·         Clean and maintain equipment and work areas

·         Support and coach new team members when needed

·         Promote membership and department promotions

·         Keep the department clean, safe, and customer-readys

WHAT WE OFFER

In addition to a wage range of $20.00 – $30.00 per hour, with the starting wage based on experience, we offer a great benefits package that includes:
