DOING RIGHT BY PEOPLE – IT’S WHAT WE DOThe Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team plays a vital role in sound governance and risk management at Payworks, including developing and maintaining Payworks' risk appetite statements, policies and standards, assessing key risks and strategic initiatives, collecting key risk indicators/metrics, and reporting.

Reporting to the Vice President of Information Security and working with the broader ERM team, the Enterprise Risk Analyst will support management's reporting requirements and the development of key risk indicators. The Enterprise Risk Analyst will also manage and maintain the Governance and ERM tooling while developing simple and creative visualizations to support reporting requirements. This requires leveraging analytical and quantitative skills to present complex information clearly and concisely to stakeholders.

- Work with the ERM team and business risk owners to perform risk identification, analyses, prioritization, mitigation, monitoring, and report findings and recommendations to the ERM team and management.
- Contributing to the development, maintenance and communication of company policies, procedures, and risk registers.
- Lead in transitioning from existing excel workbooks to a new ERM platform/tool. Participate in the selection, design, and implementation process. Continue to administer the tool once in production.
- Conduct risk assessments across the organization to better understand operating process and procedures, current risk exposures, existing controls, and any planned projects or controls that will mitigate risk.
- Work with IT Security, Privacy and Legal to perform third party vendor risk assessments.
- Prepares and create a variety of reports communicating key operating data, risk metrics and exposures.
- Designs and develops automated processes for key risk indicators, risk analytics and technical reporting.
- Work with IT and Audit groups to integrate technical controls, and audit controls with the ERM tooling to dynamically update risk registers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- University Degree or College degree within a related field of study.
- Experience in a similar role considered a strong asset.
- Strong analysis, organizational, communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in using and managing Governance, Risk, Compliance or Audit tools.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and related interviews.
- Strong computer skills considered an asset.
- Experience with any of the following vendors, tools or products considered an asset: OneTrust, BitSight, Excel, Thomson Reuters HighQ, Rapid7
