Legal Services of North Florida has an opening for a Victims' Rights Paralegal in its Pensacola office.  Applicants should be a skilled typist and have excellent grammatical and computer skills. Qualified applicants will be a either a Florida Registered Paralegal with the Florida Bar Association or have a four-year degree or completion of a legal assistant or paralegal program approved by the American Bar Association. (Year-for-year work experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary may be substituted for education requirement.)  Ability to work independently and in a team environment is desired. Experience drafting letters, legal motions and orders is desired.  Ability to analyze complex issues and to obtain results to positively impact client and community is desired.
Entry level salary of $28,000 is negotiable depending on experience. THIS IS SHORT-TERM position set to end on September 30, 2021, absent continuation funding obtained for this project role. Comprehensive fringe benefits package includes: paid holidays, paid vacation, sick leave, a four-day workweek (35 hours). After sixty days, benefits includes employer paid health insurance for employee & dependent children, term life and disability insurance. Additional voluntary options of term life, disability insurance, and retirements plans are also available.
