Bridge Officers (Captains/Ch-Mates/Mates)
Qualifications and License needed: 500/1600 Ton Master Oceans or Chief/1st/2nd/3rd Mate dependent on role and vessel assigned. Good boat handling skills to include station-keeping for extended periods of time and experience in navigating Pacific Ocean from San Diego, CA to Seattle, WA is preferred. Captain/Mates will assist in leading vessel charters for technical exercises and science expeditions, to include supporting Remote Operated Vehicles (ROV) operations and other sea/subsea vehicles/watercrafts. Candidates are expected to manage/assist a crew of 10, work well with others and have good Company/Client interaction skills. 5 years’ experience in Master/Chief Mate/Mate position preferred but not required.
Active DoD secret clearance is benefit to the position.
Key Details:
-500/1600 Ton Master Oceans or Chief/1st/2nd/3rd Mate- (STCW Preferred)
-ARPA/ECDIS (boat dependent)
-Work Rotation: Approximately 6 Weeks on/off (dependent on operations)
-Full Day Rate coming/going + Travel expenses covered
-Day Rate depending on experience/license/performance
