+ Develop creative solutions without the red tape – You will design, test and implement technology solutions and engage with team members to come up with the best technical solutions to those business problems to ensure the performance, integrity, resiliency and scalability of Payworks networks and virtualized datacentres.
+ Create a virtual connection – Configure hypervisor and virtual machines to ensure consistency in staging, production and disaster recovery sites. You will also provide continuous testing and evaluating to DR and BCP to make sure all equipment is up-to-date and working.
+ Work with a team – Support, cooperate, and create with cross-functional teams. You will collaborate with the security and compliance teams to ensure devices and their configurations meet or exceed the standard and redefine normal. You will develop actions plans for continuous improvement and resolution of issues.
+ Make great products even better – Monitor, maintain, and support existing functionality by identifying areas to elevate the IT infrastructure and explore new technologies to meet the evolving needs of users, clients and the business.
YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
+ Previous experience with Infor BIRST platform
+ Highly experienced in a technical role relating to system administration
+ Experience with both Windows Server and Linux operating systems
+ Strong understanding of web server technologies: IIS, Apache, nginx
+ Working knowledge of database systems SQL or MySQL
+ Familiar with monitoring system performance and capacity
+ Ability to manage configurations using tools such as Puppet / Chef also considered an asset
+ Thrives in a collaborative and respectful team environment and won’t shy away from working with others to solve complex problems
+ Strong pride of ownership in your work
+ Ability to problem solve and manage your time

The Infrastructure Analyst works out of the Payworks Office in Winnipeg; however, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone during the pandemic employees are currently working remotely. Capitalizing on technology in new ways has allowed us to connect as a team and continue to collaborate virtually despite being physically apart.
