Job Description
· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, as it relates to the patients, staff members and the facility
· Maintain professional relationships with patients based on mutual trust and respect and in accordance to the provisions of the Aegis Code of Ethics, and Patient Bill of Rights
· Implement all aspects of receiving, storing, and dispensing controlled and non-controlled substances
· Perform as required by applicable federal and state regulations daily reconciliation of controlled substances
· Maintain as required by applicable federal and state regulations accurate individual patient medication dosage sheets and urinalysis results
· Administer medication dosages and evaluate patients for side effects or reactions

· Provide appropriate documentation to Medical Director and / or Clinic Manager as required by applicable federal and state regulations, or as specified by Aegis Treatment Centers, LLC. policies

· Perform venipuncture and collect lab specimens as needed
· Prepare, stock and maintain exam rooms and dispensary

· Implement and enforce all regulatory standards, requirements and guidelines as it relates to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as licensing boards and accreditation authorities. Such authorities and include: DEA, FDA, SAMSHA/CSAT, CARF, ASAM/CSAM, ADA, DHS, Medicare, Medi-Cal, California ADP, Cal-OSHA, Labor & Professional Code.

· Set expectations in full detail, provide feedback in “real time,” and maintain individual accountability of your staff members through performance reviews, outcome measuring and the development of their improvement plans.


Position Requirements
· LVN or Licensed Psychiatric Technician in good standing with the State of California
· Current CPR and First Aid Certification from American Heart Association
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment, catering to a high volume of patients on a daily basis
· Excellent attention to detail
· Excellent management skills, and supervisory and administrative experience, preferably in the Drug Rehabilitation and/or Behavioral/Mental Health fields.

· Work any eight-hour shift between 5:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M — punctuality is paramount
· Provide coverage at multiple sites within a 45-mile radius
