Team Lead Field Technician

Frontier Technologies is looking for a Team Lead Technician to join our Sub-Contractor Services division in HRM, NS.

Responsibilities

·         Installation of cable, telephone and high speed internet products for our clients;

·         Installation of interior and exterior communications wiring including coaxial, CAT 5, 5E, 6, and twisted pair cabling;

·         Troubleshooting of cable, internet and telephone products using various test equipment available;

·         Maintaining a clean, organized, and well stock vehicle at all times;

·         Reporting daily hazards, near misses, vehicle inspections, and other incidents;

·         Managing multiple work orders and identifying errors within orders to ensure proper payment;

·         Driving between multiple installation and service calls throughout the day;

·         Maintain a high level of quality, safety, and productivity in the field based on out clients standards and specifications;

Team Leader Responsibilities

·         Performing quality assurance and site inspections;

·         Monitor individual technician productivity and provide monthly and quarterly coaching sessions;

·         Determine if Performance Management Plan is required;

·         Provide feedback and set performance goals for individual technicians;

·         Conduct staff and safety meetings as required;

·         Ensure vehicle inspections/maintenance are up to date and sent to Regional Manager;

·         Serve as the technical escalation point for technicians;

·         Understand warehouse inventory and fill in for the warehouse manager when not present;

·         Eligible for Bonus Program Incentive;
