Intensive In-Home (IIH) Qualified Professional – Behavioral Health / Youth Services
Full-Time | Dare County, NC (Kitty Hawk / Kill Devil Hills)
Provide community-based mental health support to children and families in Dare County as an Intensive In-Home (IIH) Qualified Professional (QP), working directly in homes, schools, and community settings.
Manage a caseload of up to 12 youth and families, delivering structured interventions aimed at reducing crisis events, preventing out-of-home placement, and improving daily functioning for children with behavioral or emotional needs.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver Intensive In-Home services to children and adolescents with behavioral, emotional, or mental health needs
- Meet families in their homes, schools, and community environments
- Work with caregivers to build routines, behavior strategies, and crisis prevention skills they can use day to day
- Develop and implement individualized, person-centered treatment plans
- Coordinate care with schools, healthcare providers, and community agencies
- Track progress across a caseload of up to 12 families and adjust interventions based on goals
- Complete documentation according to Medicaid and agency requirements
- Participate in supervision, case staffing, and team collaboration with licensed clinicians

Qualifications
Required
- Qualified Professional (QP) status under North Carolina requirements
- Experience working with children, adolescents, or families
- Ability to work independently in community settings
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Experience in Intensive In-Home services, case management, or community-based behavioral health
- Experience supporting youth with behavioral, emotional, or mental health needs
