General Laborer - Simpson's Truck and Tractor Parts Ltd

We are currently seeking an energetic and safety minded general laborer to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic equipment

• Sort and prepare products for shipping or storage

• Assist machine operators and other production staff as needed.

• Accurately label and tag products

• Maintain a clean and tidy work area

• Upkeeping safety procedures

• Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to management

• Other labor duties as necessary

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience around heavy equipment is an asset

• Previous experience of heavy lifting general labor an asset

• Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently 

• Full PPE (CSA Steel toes, Gloves, Glasses, safety Vest, Hard Hat)

• Safety driven mindset

• Clear communication skills

• Comfortable working in all weather conditions

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM and every other Saturday from 8am - 12pm

Payrate: $18.00/hr
