Receiving Dock Worker

PART TIME: 24-30 hours per week |  SCHEDULE: 8am-4pm (Weekends Required) |  WAGE: $15-$17 per hour

We're looking for a dedicated Dock Worker to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll unload delivery trucks, organize inventory, and maintain clean, safe storage areas throughout our facility. Your efforts help ensure our team always has the right items in the right place, allowing us to create enjoyable experiences for our guests!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receiving Duties: Unload delivery trucks, inspect incoming products, verify quantities, and report discrepancies or damaged items.
• Inventory Management: Properly store and rotate products in coolers, freezers, dry storage areas, and other designated areas.
• Storage Organization & Safety: Maintain clean, orderly, and safe storage areas. Ensure products are properly stored, labeled, and rotated to maintain freshness, prevent spoilage, and meet food safety standards.
• Facility Cleaning: Perform routine and deep cleaning of the receiving dock, coolers, freezers, stock rooms, and other designated storage areas. Tasks include cleaning floors, walls, shelving, storage racks, equipment exteriors, and other surfaces.
• Security and Safety: Safeguard the integrity of all inventories by maintaining proper security and handling protocols. Protect and prioritize handling of perishable goods to prevent loss, damage, or spoilage.
• Deliveries: Perform daily local deliveries and pick up requests as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: Previous experience in receiving, warehouse operations, commercial cleaning, or food service is helpful but not required.
• Dependability: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to perform a variety of hands-on tasks.
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently and alongside other team members in a busy environment.
• Driving: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be willing and able to obtain a chauffeur's license within 30 days of hire.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to regularly lift and move 50+ pounds; stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout an 8-hour shift. Must be comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments.

UNIFORM: Black work pants, black slip resistant shoes, collared button-down short sleeve shirt.
