Continental Finance Company specializes in credit card options for those consumers with less than perfect credit. We are seeking a BI Reporting Analyst to support our Risk team.

 

The BI Reporting Analyst is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of business and operational performance measurement products and providing reports and data analyses in support of the planning strategies and objectives of the organization.

 

 

Essential Functions:

 

·       Use programming capabilities through query and report design.

·       Prepare an allotment of assigned reports.  Examples include --- but are not limited to daily, weekly and monthly reporting for new acquisition, marketing campaigns and delinquency statics.

·       Analyze performance and production data to assist in determining the organization’s present and estimate its future operations performance.

·       Compile and analyze productivity and performance data for all CFC department’s and Vendors. 

·       Assist in the creation and on-going maintenance of all departmental reporting policies and procedures.

·       Exercise discretion and independent judgement in analyst responsibilities.

·       Analyze, document and make recommendations to existing or new business processes.

·       Manage short and long-term projects and new initiatives.

·       Manage process redesign, testing, and measurement projects.

·       Execute monthly self-audits of Vendors.

·       Identify and report to management production trends accordingly.

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

 

·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/MIS or related field.

·       0 to 3 years of related experience required.

·       Proficiency with SAS and or SQL.

·       PC-related skills (SAS, SQL, Tableau, Excel, Word, or other software applications) are a necessity.

·       Strong quantitative skills.

·       Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.

·       Ability to ensure the completion of assigned tasks with minimal management guidance.

·       Prior credit card or financial services experience a plus.
