About the Role:
As NBI’s new Business
Development Representative your day will be filled with activities like:
- Collaborating with teams – You will
be collaborating with other sales team members and marketing to identify new
markets, verticals, and industry associations where telematics opportunities
- List management and prospecting - You
will work with the sales and marketing teams to develop new inbound/outbound
prospecting strategies and campaigns. Following up on marketing leads, initiating
first outreach with prospective customers and working to qualify leads for
handoff to a Business Development Manager.
and achieving targets - You will experiment with creative techniques to
generate and close new leads. You are highly metrics-driven and relentless in
exceeding your targets thereby understanding the importance of accurate/consistent
CRM reporting. You are a driven sales professional who enjoys conducting high
volume email, outbound calling, and social media campaigns.
- Contact maintenance and win back
campaigns – On a regular cadence you will remind past clients and prospects
collected in our CRM database about NBI. Reigniting interest in our exceptional
service while tidying up our old records.
product knowledge – You will develop your product knowledge by shadowing your teammates
and self-guided exploration of the products we and our partners offer. You will
then use this knowledge to identify opportunities and strengthen our value
proposition to prospective clients.
- Trade shows and conferences – You will assist sales and marketing with event
preparations, campaign building and attendee follow-up.
- Developing your sales career – You will have the
opportunity to learn the full sales cycle by working closely with sales,
marketing, customer support and leadership.

This opportunity might be for you if:
have post-secondary degree/diploma, or equivalent experience.
have 1-3 years' experience in a business development, technical sales/support
role (lead generation).
- You have experience with CRM
platforms, preferably Salesforce.
- You have experience with
lead generation/management software.
possess a strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and
professional social media platforms.
- Your written and verbal communication skills are strong and
have a high attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Bilingualism in
French/English would be an asset
