Seeking a driven Sales Manager to join our fantastic hotel!
Under new Ownership and Management, the Seven Hills Inn is set on 27 acres of lush lawns and stunning gardens. It is ideal for summer vacations, romantic getaways, destination weddings, family reunions and corporate events. We have an amazing opportunity for a Sales Manager wishing to sell a 57 room hotel with modest F&B offerings and function space.
The Sales Manager will focus on Room Sales of ten or more rooms with and without meeting spaces in specific Corporate, SMERF, and Tour & Travel segments. This position will operate in accordance with strategic objectives and selective selling guidelines in place to meet and exceed market driven Group revenue components.
We have a small dynamic team that works together. Sales Manager needs to aggressively find and pursue all appropriate opportunities for business in their market segments by outside customer solicitation, creative site inspections, targeted telephone solicitations and relationship building.
Confidently represent the hotel by maintaining high visibility and positive relations through networking in local business and professional organizations. Correspond with potential customers providing any requested information concerning bids, proposals, confirmation of bookings, thank you letters, follow-up letters, etc. In conjunction with other office associates, maintain accurate and up to date records of all Sales department functions and transactions.
The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and positive manner, in order to solicit business and meet client needs. This position requires occasional travel for client visits, solicitation and training. This person must be a team player who demonstrates creativity, out of the box thinking and a good sense of humor to aid in the sales process. Must have good business acumen and maintain strong ethics and integrity in all aspects of conducting business. The ability to listen, speak and write in English and to ascertain information effectively to respond to clients is a must. Independent, high energy, entrepreneurial Sales professionals will excel. Knowledge of hotel structure and how all departments interact is a plus. A minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience required. Prefer current/functioning knowledge of the use of Triple Seat and WebRez Pro. Previous experience with Microsoft Office applications required.
