IT Technical Support - Part Time
The IT Technical Support is responsible for direct support of users contacting the DSU IT Helpdesk for assistance with either service requests or incidents as defined in accordance with the helpdesk procedures. The incumbent will also aid in proactive problem management by monitoring dashboards to help identify issues before the campus is impacted.
20 hours per week / 40 weeks per year
Qualifications:
· Associate’s degree, industry certification, or relevant experience
· Competency with computer usage from a stakeholder point of view
· Strong communication skills, verbal and written
· Experience supporting Windows and MacBook workstations, computer peripherals including printers, monitors, docking stations, scanners and other items.
· Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
· Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability and diversity
