Anderson Engineering, Inc. is an engineering consulting firm that offers a wide variety of design and development services. The team of professionals are made up of approximately 200 employees located in office throughout Missouri, Florida, and Arkansas. We are an employee-owned company that has grown from three to ten offices in the last five years. We are looking for enthusiastic team members to be a part of the AE family.

Anderson Engineering has an immediate opening for a Survey Coordinator in our Columbia, Missouri office.  This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Survey Department.  This includes managing personnel needs, preparing proposals, research and coordinating projects for field and office work, overseeing the quality and timeliness of field and office work, performing survey calculations, reviewing, stamping and sealing surveys and legal descriptions, working directly with clients and archiving survey records. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction, review and support to the survey team by leading project, assuring proper practices and techniques. Instruct, train and mentor crew members
  • Plans, organizes and manages project elements; manage multiple projects and budgets
  • Construction staking, planning, reports, maps, plats, deeds, local geography, legal descriptions and research
  • Responsible for accuracy of documents and deliverables completed by the team
  • Ensure a high level of customer service to clients and project time management

Qualifications:

  • Licenses PLS in Missouri required;
  • 10+ years’ experience
  • High level of knowledge of all types of survey practices and survey equipment
  • Ability to manage a team effectively
  • Organized, self-motivated and customer service oriented
