I.T Manager

As an integral part of the Health Information and Technology department, provides for the maintenance and operation of the company's network system.  Assists in managing and coordinating the activities of employees engaged in monitoring and installing network infrastructures and resolving user problems.

  • Position is responsible for management of the LAN and WAN environments, VoIP services and security of network, including timely patching and change control
  • Manage system security; oversee and implement necessary controls and procedures to cost-effectively protect information and system assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure or destruction
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring of a team with diverse skill sets
  • Maintain 24/7 operation availability of the network, servers and electronic health information
  • Coordinate all after-hours on-call scheduling, including any escalation and communication procedures

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  Associates degree or equivalent work experience.  Microsoft or Cisco certifications recommended.  5-7 years of system/network support, 1-2 years in a leadership position
