Men's Locker Room Attendant - FT
The Locker Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the men's Locker Room is maintained to the highest standards and ready for use by our Owners and Guest of Kohanaiki.
Job Responsibilities and Standards:
The following description of job responsibilities and standards are intended to reflect the essential functions of the position. This outline does not detail every aspect of the position and there may be other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Â· Able to work in a fast-paced work environment while meeting deadlines as directed.
Â· Able to make basic bar cocktails.
Â· Comprehensive use and understanding of Clubsoft POS.
Â· Basic understanding and execution of F&B Sequence of Service.
Â· Provide the highest level of professionalism and customer service for our Members/Guests.
Â· Greet and assist guests and members with Locker Room needs.
Â· Provide prompt and courteous service to all guests at all times.
Â· Ensure cleanliness of locker room, bathroom and shower stalls to maintain a sanitary condition at all times.
Â· Ensure that all amenities are fully stocked, and fresh at all times.
Â· Offer assistance with cleaning and shining of Members and Guests shoes.
Â· Assist members with drink selections from the Locker Room Bar and ensure that the sample food offerings are fully stocked and always fresh.
Â· Have a very detailed knowledge of the drinks and foods offered daily.
Â· Comply with all club policies and procedures and follow guidelines as stated in the training manuals.
Â· Communicate any special requests and preferences to club concierge for guest history.
Â· Perform other duties as assigned by manager, or supervisor.
Â· High school diploma or equivalent.
Â· Valid U.S. Driverâ€™s License.
Â· Must be at least 21 years of age.
Â· Excellent verbal communication skills and must be very customer service oriented.
Â· Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Â· Be knowledgeable of Club services, features, upcoming events and specials.
Customer Service Responsibility:
Â· Ensures that the club's customer service standards are maintained at an exceptional level.
Â· Presents self in a professional manner including appearance, identification, and general communication and conduct at all times.
Â· Makes a positive contribution to the work environment through presentation of positive attitude, demonstration of cooperation and teamwork, and constructive approach to daily events.
Â· Listens effectively, responds to guestsâ€™ requests in a friendly â€œcan doâ€ manner.
Â· Attendance: Adheres to established schedule of work hours. Follows established procedures for early notification to supervisor when unable to report to work. Call a manager 30 minutes before shift starts to avoid an improper call in.
o Punctuality: Arrives to work at scheduled times and works until authorized to leave.
Â· Attends all mandatory education/in-service programs and demonstrates understanding of responsibilities through appropriate actions.
Â· Demonstrates effective communication by utilizing positive verbal and non-verbal skills in all interactions.
Â· Must be able to work a flexible schedule and extra hours when needed.
Â· Demonstrates adherence to the club's safe practice procedures and makes recommendations to improve safety. Reports any unsafe work practice to supervisor.
Â· Consistently utilizes proper body mechanics in performance of responsibilities, as evidenced by supervisorâ€™s observation and no injury to self or others due to improper work habits.
Â· Follows proper reporting procedures when injured at work. Is aware of the location of material safety data sheets and refers to them when necessary.
Physical and Mental Requirements of the Job:
Â· Able to lift 20-30 pounds.
Â· Able to work under pressure.,
Â· Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, be able to multi task, have excellent inter-personal skills and speak English fluently.
