Monarch Medical Management supports a network of specialty medical practices throughout the Greater New Orleans area, including Orthopedics, Neurology, Pain Management, MRI Imaging, Chiropractic Care, and Physical Therapy. Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support providers and patients in a fast-paced specialty practice. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and committed to delivering excellent patient care while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and efficient workflow.


Responsibilities

  • Triage and room patients, obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
  • Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Review medications, verify allergies, and update patient records.
  • Assist providers during patient visits and support efficient clinic operations.
  • Communicate provider instructions, prescription refill requests, and test results to patients as directed.
  • Process laboratory and radiology results.
  • Provide patient education and after-visit instructions.
  • Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
  • Travel to surrounding clinic locations as needed to support practice operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Medical Assistant experience in a physician office, clinic, or specialty practice required.
  • Medical Assistant certification is not required.
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Experience in Orthopedics, Neurology, Spine, or Pain Management is a plus.
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between clinic locations required.


Schedule

Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Occasional travel to clinic locations in Slidell, the Westbank, and Baton Rouge. Mileage reimbursement provided.
