Network Infrastructure Manager


Position Summary

The Network Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for architectural planning, design, and implementation of all network solutions within the data centers and branch locations, as well as working with both internal users and external partners on various projects. The Network Infrastructure Manager will work collaboratively with other managers within the department to create and maintain a stable, highly available, and productive environment for the company. The Network Infrastructure Manager will report directly to the Chief Information Officer and will directly supervise a team of Network Engineers collectively responsible for overseeing the company’s enterprise network. The Network Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, developing, reviewing, disciplining, and terminating of employees.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manages project prioritization and resource allocation to ensure that all project deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner.

2. Defines strategies and roadmaps for the network team including design, implementation, and ongoing management of the enterprise network.

3. Coordination of maintenance schedules for all network related projects.

4. Develops installation procedures to ensure successful integration of network, telephony, and security related solutions.

5. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure consistent provisioning, uptime, regulatory compliance, data protection, and quality of service.

6. Monitors the network to ensure maximum uptime and improve efficiency.

7. Coordinates, revises, and tests the Disaster Recovery plan as needed.

8. Work collaboratively with other managers when necessary.

9. Maintain an accurate account of all hardware, software, licensing, and support agreements.

10. Stay up-to-date with all new software and firmware version releases.

11. Proactively research new and improved technology that can benefit the productivity of the company.

12. Ensures all work-related tasks are accounted for utilizing ticketing system.

13. Adheres to BSA policy and all other bank policies.

14. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

-  Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology or another related field.

-  8+ years of hands-on network experience; supervisory or team lead experience preferred.

-  Exceptional ability to manage and mentor members of the team.

-  Experience working in a medium-to-large data center environment managing the network, telephony, and security technologies.

-  Experience working with a mid-to-large size, multi-location network; expert level experience with MPLS, BGP, and OSPF required, SD-WAN highly preferred.

-  Strong Juniper knowledge preferred.

-  Strong Fortinet knowledge preferred.

-  Experience using network monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds.

-  Experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and testing disaster recovery operations.

-  Ability to work well within a team.

-  Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication, documentation, and collaborative skills.

-  JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE highly preferred.

-  Fortinet Certifications highly preferred.

-  CompTIA Security+ highly preferred.

-  Background and credit clearance required.
