Cash & Ace Casino is a family-owned business looking to grow it's Casino’s leadership. With over 1,500 slot machines and 103 table games. Our locations include our newly constructed ACE Casino Airport which is located at the Calgary International Airport, ACE Casino Blackfoot located in Calgary (formerly branded as Cash Casino) and Cash Casino located in Red Deer.   

Job Overview:

Reporting to the Regional General Manager – Tables and Poker, the Games Manager is an exciting

leadership role that will experience all the classic casino games and action. The Senior Games Manager will oversee

all the gaming floor operations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Hires, trains, and developments the Games Managers (including AML/FINTRAC

reporting/compliance requirements, schedule processes, reviews table games analytics, reviews

internal policy/procedure for efficiencies, etc.).

• Reviews games mix and floor plan, discusses opportunities with Regional General Manager (RGM).

• Creates and posts regular schedules for your department based on operational needs (ensuring

Education and Experience:

• 5+ years in a Games Manager role, preferred.

• Previous experience managing table game operations in a casino environment.

• Experience dealing with VIP guests is considered an asset. Strong leadership qualities with proven

ability to mentor, develop and support a team.

• Current AGLC registration gaming license, or ability to successfully become a registered gaming

worker.

• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.

• AGLC certifications including Anti-money Laundering (AML) Certification, Deal us in Phase 1 and 2,

and ProServe.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to speak English is mandatory. Ability to fluently speak additional languages is an asset.

• Strong work ethic with ability to maintain professionalism and a high level of confidentiality.

• Ability to recognize signs of collusion or team play, angling, obvious misinterpretation, or

manipulation of the house rules, etc.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, organized, with strong problem-solving skills.

Job Requirements:

• Ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including graveyards, weekends, and holidays. The

hours of work will be based on operational needs.

• Knowledge of AGLC Terms & Conditions and Operating Guidelines.

• Knowledge and ability to clearly explain operating house rules to guests and employees.

• Professional demeanor and ability to approach situations in a tactful manner.

• Ability to work calmly under pressure and treat others with respect regardless of their status or

position.

• A passion for providing excellent service and full alignment with the organization’s vision.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to maintain good rapport between all

departments and ownership.
