Housing Attendant
- Clean and maintain staff housing common areas, including lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry facilities, ensuring they are tidy, hygienic, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Perform deep cleaning of staff housing units when tenants depart, including thorough cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, ensuring units are ready for new occupants.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks, such as replacing light fixtures, installing towel bars, repairing window screens, and painting, to keep staff housing in good condition.
- Report any major maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying the Housing Manager when items need to be reordered.
- Communicate effectively with staff residents, addressing any cleaning related concerns or queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines while carrying out duties.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and experience with cleaning equipment and products.
- Basic understanding of maintenance tasks and ability to perform minor repairs.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs, as well as stand, kneel, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
