Island Wing Company is looking for an experienced kitchen manager in a high volume full-service restaurant (QSR's and Fast Casuals don't count). In order to qualify, you must have at least 2 years of steady employment at a full-service restaurant that has done high volume in sales. We have 100 employees and a continuous growing level of customers so you must be able to react to high levels of stress in a positive way.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Oversee restaurant BOH staff
Ensuring high quality of guest's experience/quality
Excel spreadsheet knowledge
Understanding of analyzing food and labor cost strategies
Coordinate vendor transactions
Working alongside staff in key areas that may need additional assistance
Your job will be to help ensure all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently. There may be some assigned special duties to support specific functions of the restaurant. You must be familiar with all aspects of the restaurant business and have a solid understanding of what makes a great customer experience. You should be available to work all operating hours, including weekends and holidays. Ultimately, you will help minimize operating cost, boost employee retention, and deliver unparalleled hospitality to our/your guest.
