Director of Admissions and Sales

As Director of Admissions and Sales, you will be expected to:

Focus daily on census growth for center.

Develop, implement and evaluate territory plans, strategies and actions to achieve budgeted census goals and provide to ED, AED, and RDA. 

Develop a weekly/monthly marketing schedule or routing plan detailing accounts you will make sales calls for the week/month.

Market to established accounts every M, T, W, Th (set days – 90% external) If not out marketing on Friday, will assist with intake. 

Review, accept/approve referrals. Have DHS/DON to review based on medical complexity. 

Complete the On-Site Sales Activity form highlighting the accounts visited, names of persons seen and the outcome of each sales call.

If starts at the facility first, it is expected to review/approve/deny referrals prior to departing for marketing for the day. 

Manage territory, conduct sales calls and presentation, and generate referrals by building long term business relationships. 

Schedule two promotional activities, sales campaigns and other growth initiatives to expand center’s brand, introduce key staff members to the accounts per month. 

Conduct weekly business development meetings to discuss plans for marketing, census growth, barriers to admissions, and any new business niches that will benefit your center, to include one new innovative idea to enhance and develop new business for Lake City . 

Budget and manage marketing materials and collaterals for Lake City.

Complete bedside visits on all accepted referrals with the goal to convert to an admission to the center and follow up on referrals already accepted until discharge. 

Follow up on hospital patients and the return of bedholds.

Communicate hourly with the Internal Admissions Coordinator for any new referrals requiring face to face communication with the referral source.

Perform other related duties as necessary and as director by Executive Director, Assistant Executive Director and/or by Regional Admissions Consultant.
