The Maintenance Technician will be accountable for performing all daily tasks associated with the facilities and residential equipment across property. Duties include, but are not limited, general repairs and services in all maintenance-related disciplines, e.g., carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, and minor electrical.
Maintain club facilities, including carpentry, renovation, mechanics, plumbing, HVAC, and minor electrical.
Diagnose malfunctions and defects in mechanical and similar equipment and determine appropriate corrective measures.
Complete assigned tasks, work orders, and maintenance procedures in a timely, safe, and correct manner.
Document all maintenance and services in accordance with company guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of all work activities, support materials including parts used, and supplies needed for projects.
Ensure all billable time is appropriately charged to owners and associations.
Work with outside contractors, as directed.
Maintain positive interactions with all club members and guests, providing a high level of customer service.
Perform all duties as assigned by the Chief Maintenance Manager or other members of the senior management team, as deemed appropriate.
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a construction or maintenance field preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
Positive engaged disposition with willingness to learn and progress.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Excellent organizational skills.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
Drivers license and clean driving record.
Able to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Ability to bend, stretch, walkfor long periods of time.
HVAC knowledge and experience preferred.
CPO certification preferred.
