Assistant Manager
Introduction:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team and assist in the day-to-day operations of our business. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing a team of employees, overseeing the budget and financial performance of the company, and developing and implementing strategies for growth and success. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and problem-solving skills and be able to adapt to changing business needs as well as plan, organize, staff and direct the operation. It is the Assistant Manager's responsibility to ensure that a spirit of mutual support, concern and respect is demonstrated by all employees.
Responsibilities:
Manage a team of employees, including setting performance expectations, providing training and development, and managing employee relations
Develop and implement strategies for growth and success, including identifying new opportunities and improving existing processes
Monitor reservation trends and adapt to changing business needs
Responsible for handling and documenting daily currency
Ensure policies and procedures are being followed
Communicate effectively with other team members and management
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role (Restaurant or Hospitality setting preferred)
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to changing business needs
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong financial management skills
