The Strategic Marketing Manager will be responsible for expanding the business footprint and curating content for a digital engagement platform (Connected Community™ - HealthEconomics.Com) that informs, empowers, educates and connect researchers, solution providers, and other stakeholders in pharmaceutical value, evidence and access arena. 

The ideal candidate has business and marketing skills, a strong aptitude for building customer relationships, driving revenue, creating digital content, and expanding the relevant knowledge base for professionals. 

A knowledge of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), real world evidence (RWE), medical affairs, and market access (MA) is desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Expand HealthEconomics.Com readership, advertiser base, content, and industry impact, drawing upon sufficient subject matter expertise in HEOR, RWE, and MA 
  • Conceive and implement new marketing and educational programs that reflect the changing trends in healthcare value, evidence and access industry
  • Work cross-functionally with Scientist.com teams to develop and deliver content that drives business relationships and sales for the company overall and relevant verticals
  • Provide editorial direction and content curation of digital newsletter, website and other digital channels
  • Drive new service offerings that deliver a competitive edge
  • Support industry researchers to identify and connect with service providers via the Scientist.com Value, Evidence and Access online marketplace
Requirements
  • BS, MS or PhD in business development, commercialization, marketing or research focused in HEOR, RWE and Market Access, or in the general field of healthcare value and access (or 3+ years equivalent work experience)
  • History of strategic thought leadership and/or content development to build reputation and authority with researchers, prospects, customers and other stakeholders
  • Track record of marketing and customer acquisition successes
  • Strong up-to-date knowledge of the HEOR, RWE and MA field including key solution providers, emerging trends, current events and relevant issues. You have a commitment to staying knowledgeable about the scientific research areas of focus demonstrated by high curiosity and determination for self-learning
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills; comfortable with client presentations and engagement with researchers
