Our Summer Camp program provides a safe, engaging, and fun environment for school-age children (K–6th grade) during school holidays and camp days—and our counselors are at the heart of it all.

Position Overview

Under the guidance of the Site Supervisor, the Summer Camp Counselor plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care and memorable experiences for our campers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct supervision to school-age children (K–6th grade)
• Lead and assist with planned daily activities, games, and enrichment programs
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming program environment
• Care for program equipment and supplies
• Build positive, professional relationships with children and their families
• Serve as a positive role model and uphold YMCA values
