Draught Services & Beer Quality Technician - PEI Brewing Company

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island Full-time $17.50-$18.50/hour

As Draught Services & Beer Quality Technician, You Will

This position’s primary responsibility is to be a front-line representative of the company to licensee partners and will be responsible for the brewery’s draught equipment maintenance and service program. Reporting to the Delivery and Logistics Coordinator, will work closely with the entire sales and operation team. The right candidate will exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor. This position will be a key contributor to the success of one of Atlantic Canada’s largest craft breweries. This position will run on a 100% Draught Services schedule during the Summer and Fall months, and a 75% Draught Service and 25% Logistics schedule during the Winter.

Draught Services Technician Responsibilities: 75%

  • Perform scheduled draught line cleaning and quality checks at licensees across the Island
  • Maintain (maintenance and cleaning) fleet of PEIBC owned kegerators.
  • Stock and maintain adequate part inventories for PEIBC owned draught equipment and handling of cleaning chemicals.
  • Prepare service reports for accounts. Weekly review, follow-up and draught report with sales team.
  • Work closely with brewery team on draught quality and complaint follow-ups.
  • Maintain and operate company vehicle in responsible manner.

Delivery & Logistics Responsibilities: 25%

  • Route reconciliation.
  • Warehouse and inventory management
  • Servicing accounts includes rotating stock.
  • Building pallets of kegged and canned product for on and off-island Liquor Commissions.
  • Delivering kegged products across the Island.
  • Work alongside the team to establish a safe and fun atmosphere.
  • Other duties as required


Who You Are and What You Bring

  • Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
  • Excellent time management skill.

  • Good physical fitness, ability to lift up-to 50lbs.
