The Account Representative position acts as a liaison between the customer and laundry operations. Key responsibilities include customer satisfaction through the resolution of issues/concerns, inventory control, and asset management. Additional responsibilities include the promotion of cost-containment recommendations, auxiliary programs and commodity/service-related sales.

Customer Service
Ensures customer satisfaction through the resolution of quality and service issues. Communicates issues through direct operations/service contact and monthly service reports. Builds relationships through frequent visitation/communication, thorough follow up and reliability of service.
 
Inventory Control
Performs regular inventories during site visits, uses client-specific quota sheet to ensure adequate supply, adjusts orders accordingly. Periodically performs standard reviews to align current usage with shipments.
 
Cost Containment
Performs walk-through surveys monthly and provides the customer with observations/recommendations. Manages HCSC assets through identification and communication of abuse/misuse/overuse. Educates clients on usage trends via linen utilization reports/benchmarks and makes appropriate recommendations.
 
Team Projects
participates in periodic joint projects, such as linen conversions (installations/deinstallations), linen usage surveys and other client-based projects.
 
Product Sales
Identifies and promotes the sale of commodities and linen-related items to assigned client base through the Select Supply Program.
 
Auxiliary Programs
Identifies, promotes, installs and maintains VIP linen, dust control, pack, and scrub programs. Performs periodic inventories, orders replacement/inventory increase items, as needed.
 
Customer Relations Confidentiality
  • Protects and prevents improper disclosure of protected health, proprietary, and personal information. Abides by corporate privacy and confidentiality policies.
      • ASSOCIATES OR BACHELORS DEGREE IN BUSINESS PREFERRED
      • 1 YEAR SALES/MARKETING -CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE REQUIRED
      • 1 YEAR COMMERCIAL LINEN/LAUNDRY PREFERRED
      • 1 YEAR HEALTHCARE/MEDICAL Sales or Customer Service Experience - Required
      • 1 YEAR MANAGEMENT PREFERRED

**All new hires are eligible for Bonuses. You will be eligible to receive, upon completion of 180 days of service, and successfully passing probation, a $500 retention bonus.  Upon completion of 365 days of service, you will receive an additional $500. Total of $1,000 over one year of employment service.**
