The Project Engineer (PE) is responsible for
expediting the review and the response for Requests for Information (RFI), Shop
Drawings and Submittals and the maintenance of as-built information. The PE will assist Project Manager(s) and
Superintendent(s) with contractor supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Ø Preparing complete, accurate and timely submittal
and punch list logs for construction projects based on the project drawings and
Ø Accountable for tracking and receiving approved
submittals from Architect/Engineer and/or Owner’s team and notifying the same
if their review and approval has potential schedule impact.
Ø Keep the submittals on time to work with the
Ø Assist the Project Team in managing technical and
contractual issues as needed.
Ø Create scopes of work for contracts and purchase
orders for each trade as determined by project for review by Project Manager.
Ø Attend progress meetings and prepare meeting
minutes for distribution.
Ø Prepare, review and process RFI’s, accountable for
tracking and receiving response in required time frame. Maintain RFI log as required. Keep the RFI’s on time to work with project
Ø May assist with oversight of all field personnel,
subcontractors, and vendors.
Ø Receive, review, and analyze bid documents (e.g.,
specifications, scope, contract terms & conditions).
Ø Assist with preparation of proposal documents.
Ø Prepare progress requests for submittal to
Ø Develop correspondence regarding project
information as directed by Project Manager.
Ø Create and maintain documentation for submittals,
RFI's, change orders, meeting minutes, etc.
Ø Assist project managers with QA/QA and Safety
Ø Perform job walks, as needed.

committed to learning and becoming proficient in new software programs quickly.
This position is a field-based and office-based
position, as required. Carrying or
handling materials may be necessary.
This position requires that the individual holding
it provide his or her own transportation, a valid Driver License, and sufficient
automobile insurance coverage.
