Medical Assistant Miami

We are looking for a Medical Assistant Team Member to serve as our patients' first point of contact and manage all aspects of their medical treatment. Medical Assistant Team Member responsibilities include registering patients, managing appointments, and providing information about the therapy, treatment, and referral options. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the medical industry, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities

·         Clean and confirm patient scheduling

·         Verify patient information

·         Confirm appointments

·         Check-in/Check-out patients

·         Reschedule/Cancel Appointments

·         Explain the doctor's recommendations

·         Verify patient's follow-up on doctor's recommendations

·         Order patient records

·         Answer phones

·         Assist with patient intake information

Skills

·         Work experience as a medical assistant or similar role

·         Experience with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Teams)

·         Ability to learn medical data entry software

·         Customer service attitude

·         Excellent communication and organizational skills

·         Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
