Position Summary:

At Thrive Behavioral Health Center, we deliver industry leading peer support for those suffering from Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse Disorders.  We are proud to set the industry standard and continue our growth. An Area Relations Coordinator is responsible for  customer relation management and the overall success of all programs within Thrive. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with the community and referral networks, including making phone calls, scheduling, and attending meetings with agencies in your area

  • Become part of and establish relationships with people and agencies within the recovery community

  • Build and maintain strong positive communication with the Thrive team to enhance the success of the centers/communities

  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals set forth by the CEO/Sales Manager outlined in the goals structure

  • Send client/prospect sheet with new prospects to the CEO/Sales Manager weekly and contact all prospects as outlined in the ARC goals

  • Schedule prospect meetings

  • Assist where necessary to assure peers needs are being met, including monitoring feedback and contributing to the process of resolving concerns, planning and initiating process improvement within developing territory

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with client organizations, team leads and peer supporters

  • Work in collaboration with  other members of the internal team as required

  • Develop plans and processes to meet the needs of clients

  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand revenue and ancillary services and reduce expenses

  • Work with other ARC’s and department heads as an interdisciplinary team to assist with Corporate development and expansion

  • Regular travel expectations between multiple sites

  • Other duties as assigned 


Requirements:

  • Certified Ohio Peer Recovery Coach Certificate and/or CDCA licensure

  • Displays strong leadership skills and a dynamic personality

  • Ability to communicate with others in a positive manner and be a true team player

  • Displays a “peer/community” mentality

  • Proven Self starter, team player, excellent communicator

  • Exemplifies strong work ethic and operates with the highest level of integrity

  • Detail oriented and efficient time management skills

  • Lived experience with substance use and/or mental health disorder

  • Identify as a person in recovery with at least two years of successful recovery

  • Working knowledge of different pathways to recovery and social systems including evidence based practices

  • Understands problems analysis, decision-analysis, evaluate interventions, and contingency plans

  • Ability to be an active listener by asking questions and reflecting on what is being said

  • Proficient level of ability with computer; Microsoft Office Products

  • Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate information clearly

  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Management Experience

  • State Certified Supervision Certificate


Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
